1. About us
Fun888.gg is an independent online-casino review publication living at the domain fun888.gg. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, we are the data controller for the personal data described here. We operate no casinos, we maintain no player accounts, and not a single deposit, bet or withdrawal ever moves through anything we run.
2. The personal data we collect
We limit what we collect strictly to whatever is needed to keep the site running and to reply to people who get in touch. In short:
- The only personal data we hold is what you choose to send through the contact form or by email. If you never reach out to us, we simply do not know who you are.
- Basic, anonymised analytics tell us which pages people read and, roughly, which country a visitor is browsing from, without ever pinning down an individual.
- Standard server logs briefly note IP addresses for security purposes.
- A very small set of cookies stores your consent choice and one or two basic display settings.
We do not collect payment information, we never ask for identity documents, we build no advertising profiles of individual readers, and we never sell, rent or exchange personal data with anyone.

4. Our legal grounds (GDPR)
Under Article 6 of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we rely on only two legal grounds and nothing else:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics and functional cookies. Aside from strictly necessary cookies, nothing loads until you have accepted it via the cookie banner, and you may withdraw that consent whenever you wish.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for replying to messages you have chosen to send us, for running the strictly necessary cookies, and for keeping short-lived server logs that protect the site.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use only a handful of cookies. The strictly necessary ones load on every visit because the site cannot function without them; analytics and functional cookies load solely after you have opted in via the banner. You will find the full cookie-by-cookie breakdown on our Cookies page.
6. Who has access to your data
A handful of the site's functions rely on trusted processors. Each receives no more than it strictly requires, and every one is bound either by GDPR-compliant contractual clauses or by an equivalent legal safeguard.
- Hosting provider. A European host powers the site and briefly retains standard server logs for security.
- Email provider. Anything you send to hello@fun888.gg is handled by a European mail host under a signed data-processing agreement.
- Analytics. Aggregated, anonymised traffic measurement only starts once you have consented (with IP anonymisation switched on).
- Affiliate networks. If you click an outbound link to a casino, that operator or its affiliate network may place its own cookie so a subsequent sign-up is attributed to Fun888.gg. This happens on the operator's own site, where its own privacy policy takes over from the second you land there.
7. Your rights under the GDPR
If you live in the UK, the EEA or anywhere offering equivalent protections, you are entitled to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure, the "right to be forgotten". Just email hello@fun888.gg to ask us to remove any personal data we hold on you; we handle verified requests inside the 30-day period the law sets.
- Restrict or object to the way we process it.
- Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time, without affecting anything else.
- Data portability, letting you obtain your data in a structured, machine-readable form.
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, that means the ICO at ico.org.uk).

9. Updates to this policy
We review this page whenever our tooling changes or the surrounding regulations move. Any meaningful change updates the last-updated date at the top, and we keep the previous version archived internally. The version live right now is dated 31 July 2026.
